This Privacy Policy explains how sj (“we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, uses, and protects the information of merchants and customers when using the sj-gateways Shopify App (the “App”).

By installing or using our App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

When you install or use the App, we may collect the following information:
From Merchants
  • Shop information: shop domain, contact email
  • Access credentials: API access tokens granted by Shopify to allow the App to operate.
  • Usage data: actions taken within the App (e.g., configuration settings, feature usage).
From Customers (if applicable)
  • Order-related information: such as order products, transaction details, or payment gateway used.
  • We do not collect sensitive payment information (such as credit card numbers).
2. How We Use Information
We use the collected information to:
  • Provide and operate the App’s features.
  • Authenticate and maintain secure sessions.
  • Customize the App experience for each merchant.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and improve the App.

We will retain merchant and customer information for as long as it is necessary to provide the App’s services
  • Merchant session data and access tokens are stored securely and deleted upon App uninstallation.
  • Webhook and log data may be retained for troubleshooting and audit purposes but will be anonymized after 7 days.

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
